"Channapatana" is a city and Tehsil headquarter in Ramanagara District, Karnataka, India.

These toys are manufactured in traditional and advanced small-scale industries. Manufacturing and twisting of raw silk, rice, Eleusine coracana and coconut is a major product of Channapattana taluk.
